Laura meets the founder of Project Salama

Laura recently met with Jacqueline Mukono, founder of the domestic abuse charity Project Salama. Laura said:

"It was great to meet Jacqui again for a productive conversation discussing the life saving work Project Salama is doing in Newbury and across Berkshire."

Laura welcomes new SEND investment

The Department for Education announced new investment of £850 million to create more places for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and in Alternative Provision (AP) in mainstream and special schools. This includes £1,718,506 for West Berkshire. Laura said:

Laura to host crime meeting in Hungerford

Laura will be hosting a meeting in Hungerford on 25 April to give constituents an opportunity to raise any concerns about crime in and around Hungerford.

Thames Valley Police and the Town Mayor Helen Simpson will be attending.
