Laura has written to the Chief Executive of Ofwat, David Black, to suggest that the water company regulator takes more stringent action on water company pay and bonuses.
Ofwat have recently announced that they will be using new powers to link the payment of dividends to a company's financial resilience and that they will be taking additional enforcement action against companies where dividend payments are not linked to enforcement. However, Laura has asked that Ofwat go further by linking bonuses to performance also.
