This week Laura visited My Apple Juice in Hungerford Park. My Apple Juice provides a pressing and preserving service for unused apples.
Speaking about the visit, Laura said:
"This fantastic little juice company gets through tonnes of apples a year, and sits alongside a cider company, The Funghi Club, Berkshire Trout and Manoir antiques at Hungerford Park, a creative, foody business park on the edge of the town.
Thanks to Richard Pagett for showing me how it’s done and reminding me how ridiculous it is that supermarket require identically sized fruit and veg, when it should be embraced and sold in all its quirky variations.
It is great to see West Berkshires food businesses working collaboratively & creatively with local produce."
