It was an honour and immensely humbling to speak at Newbury's Holocaust Memorial Day event, 75 years after the liberation the Auschwitz.
I spoke about how important the work done by the UK's Holocaust Educational Trust is to ensuring that the lessons of genocide, hatred and intolerance throughout history are listened to and taught.
Even today, people around the world pay the price of our continued dehumanisation of others, leaving in its wake unimaginable pain and suffering.
