Following the return of the Online Safety Bill to the House of Commons, Laura spoke in favour of the Bill. In her speech she expressed concern about the rising number of young people with access to online pornography - citing figures that show that between 2008 and 2011 the number of children that had watched online pornography had risen from 14% to 49% - and the impact this has had on violent and pernicious offline activity.
