You can exercise outdoors as often as you wish, following social distancing guidelines, and this can include outdoor sports courts and facilities such as tennis, basketball, golf, angling, kayaking

  • go to a garden centre.

Will I still be able to fill up the car?

Yes. There is no disruption to fuel supplies. You should continue to purchase fuel as normal.

You should avoid non-essential use of public transport where possible. If you do have to travel to work, you should walk or cycle wherever possible. If you have to use public transport, you should try to avoid peak times. If you can, wear a face covering in an enclosed space where social distancing isn’t possible and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet.

I am not using my season ticket. Can I get a refund?

Most public transport companies in the UK will let you cancel your season ticket and will refund you the remaining portion of your ticket. You can buy a new season ticket when you return to work. Check the terms and conditions on your operator’s website to find their policy.

What are the arrangements for funerals, weddings and other ceremonies?
