Supporting people across West Berkshire and making sure our communities have access to, and can benefit from, excellent employment opportunities has been one of Laura's key priorities since she was elected in 2019.
That is why she will be bringing together employers and organisations that are able to offer work and training opportunities with local people who are seeking employment, a change of career or career advice by hosting a Jobs Fair.
The Jobs Fair will take place on Thursday 28th September from 10AM until 1PM and will be held at the Northcroft Leisure Centre.
If you live in West Berkshire, this is a great opportunity to find out about job and career options from local businesses. Employers attending include Vodafone, AWE, West Berkshire Council, The Vineyard Group, Prior's Court School, Newbury Racecourse, Royal Mail, Helix, Metro Bank, Newbury BID, Sovereign Housing, Lidl, A-Plan Insurance, Best Connection, Corn Exchange Theatre, Helping Hands and Scarlett Retail.
Admission to the Jobs Fair is free, but places must be booked for a specific timeslot.
